Certificate of Completion

 

CITB will issue a Certificate of Completion to students who have completed the Private Investigation Course and successfully passed the PITC exam.

To obtain a certificate:

1. Complete the Certification Application Form
    
2. Return the completed Application with your Registration Fee of $95.
   • The Registration Fee covers registration, the exam, marking the exam and the issuance of the Certificate.
      
3. The exam will be sent to you by email in a pdf file format.
    
4. Write the exam. It is an "open book" exam.
    
5. Return the exam to CITB, along with a copy of photo identification and a completed Identification & Character Affidavit.
    
6. The exam will be marked by CITB. If you are successful, an official Certificate will be sent to you in the mail.
   • If you are not successful, you may rewrite a second exam after three months. The re-write registration fee is $70.
